RUMOR: Scoot McNairy as The Flash in Batman vs Superman?

Fans got their first look at Scoot McNairy on the set of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is currently filming in Michigan, earlier this week. The most intriguing takeaway from these photos was McNairy's green screen socks that run up much of his calves, which led many fans to believe he would play The Flash in the movie.

Another photo has surfaced of Henry Cavill in his Superman attire as he seemingly prepares to talk to or interact with McNairy's character in some way. And McNairy still has the green socks. So is this Superman talking to the Flash? According to a new report, it very well could be.

Badass Digest reports The Flash will be in the movie as the film builds to a Justice League team. It's unclear if McNairy would play Barry Allen (who has his own show on the CW this fall), Bart Allen or Wally West, but the site reports, "by the end of the movie we have a Justice League assembled that includes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash."

You likely noticed Green Lantern, a key member of the Justice League, is missing from that list. Badass Digest also reports the character will not appear in Batman v. Superman, but will show up in Justice League.
