Liverpool are close to landing the troubled Mario and veteran Eto'o, in a move that will add a frightening element to their strike-force. The pair represent everything a team desires up front, but they provide a much cheaper alternative than splashing the cash on a proven superstar who is in their prime. United are battling Real Madrid and Barcelona to sign Pogba, but the star is set to stay with Italian club Juventus. Madrid also want to keep Di Maria, but he looks set to join Manchester United.
