American Horror Story: Freakshow is about to get even sexier as they are about to add Matt Bomer to the cast. While the star just finished filming for Ryan Murphy's TV film The Normal Heart and has been featured on Glee, he is about to jump ship to Murphy's other creation AHS for the new season.

According to Entertainment weekly, the news was reported last night at the Emmy pre-party, which Murphy and Bomer both attended. Matt is up for an award for his performance in the HBO film The Normal Heart.

Ryan is so excited to reunite once again with the White Collar actor, who says the star is an "amazing" actor.

According to EW, Murphy got Bomer interested in the horror story role through a text message.

"I try to get him to do everything for me," the AHS creator explained. "I sent him a text that said, 'First right of refusal, here's the role.'"

As for who Matt will be playing in the new season, Murphy explains, "it's very... warped."

The star who is currently in the process of filming the sequel to the 2012 Magic Mike, said that he rearranged his schedule to fit in the scary appearance.

Bomer will be joining the cast, which will feature returning cast members Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy, and Emma Robert... just to name a few.

The season will be set in the 1950's in Jupiter, Florida as Lange's character tries to save her dying carnival from extinction.

The fourth installment of the horror franchise will premiere on Wednesday, October 8 on FX.
