There's less than one week until the 2014 summer transfer window slams shut, so that has left EPL teams scrambling to make new signings, meaning the Premier League transfer gossip has exploded. Stars like Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao, Lukas Podolski, Danny Welbeck and Andros Townsend could be set to move to the EPL for the first time, or to switch clubs. Also star striker Mario Balotelli has just completed his move to join EPL giants Liverpool. Is this a good signing?

Di Maria is close to completing an $80 million deal to leave Real Madrid for Manchester United, in what would be a British record for a transfer. Juventus are close to signing Lukas or Falcao, but whichever star they do not sign, could end up joining an EPL side before the deadlines passes. Manchester United are looking to sell Welbeck, and there are rumours that they could be in for Falcao or a striker of a similar standard.

Liverpool had been chasing Falcao and Balotelli, but they may drop out of the race after signing the latter from AC Milan. Tottenham winger Townsend could be on his way to Southampton, but the club are playing hard ball over agreeing to sell their talented, yet inconsistent winger.
