As the highly anticipated epic event is about to be released next month, Marvel Comics unveils its first look at Death Of Wolverine #2. Writer Charles Soule and artist Steve McNiven present the second chapter in he blockbuster four-issue event as the popular X-Man mutant hero takes a brave last stand against a terrifying lineup of his deadliest foes.

As we mentioned here, the Weapon X hero has lost his healing factor, which has slowed down his aging process and resurrected him from death many times before. But now, the Wolverine is close to meeting the Grim Reaper as his bloody wounds fail to heal themselves. Now that his greatest enemies have banded together after finding out his weakness, the mutant superhero stands alone, without the X-Men by his side.

In the second installment, we find our weakened hero walking across the claustrophobic streets of Madripoor. The indestructible killing machine is ready to paint the town red when a deal suddenly turns topsy-turvy. The injured warrior has to find out who's pulling the strings and wants his head served on a silver platter.

As mentioned before, each week in September, all four issues of Death of Wolverine will have a special cover treatment. If you are a comic book collector, this is definitely something you should have added.

Time is running out for the world's most famous X-Men hero when Death of Wolverine #2 hits the second week of September. Readers, are you ready to see this mutant superhero fall to his demise?
