Anthrax Drummer and Wife Arrested, Spent Jail Time
Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante and his wife have been arrested in Indiana on Friday (July 27). They were arrested on charges of domestic battery in front of a child.
The couple spent jail time overnight at Elkhart County Jail and was released the next day on Saturday (July 28). The two are expected to appear in court on August 3rd.
No further details have been released yet regarding the incident.
Benante, 49, and his wife Sandra, 41, have one child together named Mia Charley. Mia was born in 2006.
The Anthrax drummer had missed some shows with the band due to an injury on his hand. He is expected to play together at the "Metal Masters 4" clinic in New York City this September.
