Arturo Vidal, William Carvalho, Daley Blind, Radamel Falcao, Danny Welbeck, Nikola Zigic, Alex Song, Tom Cleverley & Shinji Kagawa: Premier League Transfer Gossip: Manchester United

Manchester United appear to be central to the latest Premier League transfer gossip. The window shuts on Monday, so clubs are in a rush to complete deals they've been unable to do all summer. United are looking to sign Arturo Vidal, William Carvalho and Daley Blind, but they will also sell Danny Welbeck, Tom Cleverley and Shinji Kagawa. As many as 6 transfers could be concluded, all because of United. Arsenal are heavily involved after being linked with Radamel Falcao and Nikola Zigic. Liverpool are interested in Alex Song, but can they sign the star?

United know they're in need of some reinforcements and there's a general belief that they will settle for Blind and one of Vidal or Carvalho. They've chased Vidal for months, but the deal seems an impossible one to conclude, meaning they may settle for the cheaper, younger Carvalho, who is also being watched by Arsenal. United will look to see Welbeck, Cleverley and Kagawa, three players that many believe are overrated and a waste of squad space. Arsenal just might help them out.

Arsenal are looking at both Cleverley and Welbeck, and they may make a cut-price offer for the English duo. The Gunners have also been linked with Zigic in one of this summer's strangest rumours, but then again, stranger things have happened. Liverpool are looking to bring Barcelona's Song in to the EPL, but can they fit him in to their crowded squad?

It seems like we are in for an exciting finish to the transfer window, and both Manchester United and Arsenal are central to many of the possible deals that are in place.
