Without Braxton Miller Ohio State Buckeyes Prepare To Face Navy: NCAA Upset Predicted By Montel Williams: NCAA Preview:
At 12pm EST, the Ohio State Buckeyes will kick-off their 2014/15 NCAA campaign against unranked opponents Navy. The Buckeyes will be without injured star Braxton Miller, yet many are predicting big things from the university this season. Montel Williams, however, believes that Navy will cause the first upset of the season, by beating the 16.5 point favourites, OSU. Can this upset happen, and what's in store for Ohio State this season?
After losing in the Orange Bowl last season, the Buckeyes are hoping to make amends and go to a bigger, better bowl, and win it. Last season had its fair share of both ups and downs, but the school are hopeful that they can improve this season. Coach Urban Meyer will lead his team out, knowing they are 4-0 against them in their history of match-ups. He won't want to lose to them ever, but especially not now in their first game of a season full of hope and expectation.
More often than not OSU keep them out defensively and score plenty of points, so could Navy cause an upset? It would be considered an upset for OSU to win by a field goal, but to lose their first game would be unthinkable. OSU will look to set the tone early, but much will depend on if their new, young stars can step up their game and replace the many players who entered the NFL this past offseason.
Will Miller's injury hurt the Buckeyes, or will they show that they mean business against Navy?
