The Voice: Taylor Swift "Shake If Off" Singer Added To Season 7 Of NBC Reality Series
Taylor Swift might have learned how to "Shake It Off" but the 24-year-old beauty is about to shake her way over to NBC's hit reality series The Voice. It looks like the singer has been tapped to star in a very important role on the seventh season of the singing competition, as she is taking on the position that Coldplay's front man Chris Martin had last year.
According to Us Weekly the singer will be going to the show as an advisor to all the contestants across the four different teams, Team Blake Shelton, Team Adam Levine, and the two new teams, Team Pharrell Williams and Team Gwen Stefani. The blonde bombshell will be helping in preparing all the contestants for the different rounds in the singing show.
"Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with," an insider for the singing competition explained to the magazine. "She had great feedback for all the contestants. She made for an amazing mentor."
Swift will join the team advisors, Gavin Rossdale who's working with his wife Gwen Stefani, Stevie Nicks, who's helping out Team Adam, Little Big Town who are joining Shelton, and Alicia Keys who'll be helping coach Pharrell's team.
The Voice is set to premiere the new season on Monday, September 22.
In addition to securing this role on the hugely popular series, Taylor is also gearing up to release her new album 1989 on October 27, which will include her new single "Shake If Off."
