Loic Remy, Javier Hernandez, Shinji Kagawa & Fernando Torres All Involved In Last Minute Premier League Transfer Gossip: Stars Join New Clubs Before Deadline Day
The Premier League transfer gossip is getting out of control, especially as the transfer deadline day is tomorrow (Monday 1 September). EPL clubs are looking at ways to add, and cut their squads, and with all the gossip coming constantly, it's hard to know which deals have gone through. Here's the very latest about moves that stars have made. The deals includes stars: Loic Remy, Javier Hernandez, Shinji Kagawa and Fernando Torres. The stars have all made last minute moves before deadline day has arrived.
Chelsea have loaned Torres to AC Milan, and today signed Remy. Torres didn't have the best of times at Chelsea, and in Remy they've made their attackers up their with the world's best. Remy is quick, strong and will provide the club with the perfect option to bring on from the bench. Torres will get to play in Serie A, and look to rebuild his faltering career, so this in and out double deal made sense for everyone involved. At around $15 million, Remy was not a striker Chelsea could afford to miss out on.
Manchester United are looking to add to their squad, but they want to cut the squad down at the same time. With that in mind they agreed to sell Kagawa back to the club they bought him from, Borussia Dortmund. Shinji was a revelation at Dortmund, but he never seemed to find his consistency in the EPL. Hernandez looks set to follow him out of Old Trafford, joining Real Madrid in a season-long loan deal. Javier was Manchester United's preferred back-up plan, but it appears they believe it's time for a change.
Which one of these signings will prove to be the best, and will there be bigger deals tomorrow?
