One Direction Album Coming Soon? SImon Cowell Talks New Record & Pesky Breakup Rumors

One Direction is readying their new album and according to Simon Cowell, it could be released any day now. The X-Factor creator and 1D maker, has spoken out about the boys newest music endeavor and has called it 'fantastic."

The British boy band has been working on their fourth album for a good chunk of time now but it looks like their mentor and boss, Cowell likes what the guys have come up with so far.

"The album's fantastic," Simon explained to Capital FM. "There's probably five or six tracks I've already heard that could be singles."

While this makes every Directioner out there very excited, Cowell also hints that Liam, Zayn, Harry, Niall and Louis aren't afraid to take risks on the new album.

"There's some very different kind of songs than what we've done before, they're taken a few more risk," the X-Factor coach explains. "Most importantly, the boys love writing, they love recording."

However, despite the boys having fun working and recording together, pesky breakup rumors have been continuing to follows the guys wherever they go. During the interview with Capital, Cowell spoke out about a possible split.

"I went on Twitter recently to say I don't think they're going to split up, they're having too good a time!" he explains. "I think they could doing this five, ten, twenty years if they wanted to!"

The new LP doesn't have a released date yet, but it has been speculated that the band could drop it just in time for the winter holiday season.
