Everton Football Club are usually a shrewd club in the transfer market, finding quality for the right place, and selling certain players at what appears to be the perfect time. Over the last year, Roberto Martinez, and his team, have become an even bigger club in the English Premier League, and this summer transfer window has certainly reflected that with many major signings. The club, however, could make more moves including: Aaron Lennon, Matija Nastasic,Tom Cleverley, Ryan Shawcross and Danny Welbeck coming in, and Shane Duffy and Darron Gibson leaving Everton.

Everton are hoping to push to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, and they are assessing the market on deadline day. It appears that both Duffy and Gibson could depart as the club continue to expand their squad, and add further quality. They have been linked with Manchester United duo Welbeck and Cleverley, who would add two very different aspects to their squad.

They were linked to Shawcross, but that deal appears to of fallen off the radar, perhaps with their chances of landing Nastasic growing they changed targets. The Manchester City defender is believed to be available for the right price, and Everton are battling Tottenham and Arsenal for the talented defender. One surprise move may involve Lennon, who Tottenham are looking to sell. Perhaps Everton will look to bring his pace to the squad, adding more depth to their bench.
