'Flight Of The Conchords' Return HBO Season, 4 New Episodes RUMORS: Jemaine Clement Addresses Network Reunion w/ Bret McKenzie On Twitter
A recent rumor about Flight of the Conchords returning to HBO for a 4-episode season has been making the rounds this week, but should we believe the speculation? Will Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie reunite for their musical comedy series once again, despite being away for so long? Well according to Clement's recent post on Twitter, we shouldn't hold our breaths for new episodes.
Jemaine cleared up the confusion that started after a recent interview with him made it seem like the series was coming back.
"Sometimes it feels like we lost a lot of impetus over the last couple of years," he told The Guardian. "But Bret, James [Bobin, lead director] and me, we all want to do a musical. It would be good to do something all together...I miss playing Flight of the Conchords gigs."
The article goes on to state that HBO confirmed the 4-episode return, with Jemaine saying, "'t was supposed to be this year but then we decided to put What We Do in the Shadows out ourselves."
