Donovan McNabb Disses Nick Foles [VIDEO]: 2014 Philadelphia Eagles QB Is Not Franchise Material, Runs Slow Like A 'Turtle'

Coming into the 2014 - 2015 NFL season, Philadelphia Eagles fans have high hopes for quarterback Nick Foles, especially after his impressive season last year. Unfortunately, Philly legend Donovan McNabb doesn't think the new QB can pull it off this year, and doubts Foles' ability to become a franchise player. Plus, McNabb thinks Foles is a slow runner, comparing him to a "turtle." We might have to wait for the stats to settle this argument, but for now McNabb isn't pulling any punches!

Right after praising the Eagles QB as a pocket passer, McNabb compared Foles to a "turtle" in terms of speed.

"When he's running the read-option, I've never seen a quarterback move so slow," he said this week.

Also, McNabb was asked if he thought Foles could be a franchise quarterback. He made his opinions clear.

"I really can't answer that at this particular point," he said. "But if I had to, give or take, I would say no. He won't do what he did last year. That just won't happen, 27 touchdowns, two interceptions. I see him being more of a 25 touchdown, maybe eight, maybe 10 interception guy."

He added: "Too many times as fans, as media members, we get excited when we see a player put up great numbers one year, but the next year doesn't follow."
