Nashville is about to get even countrier this season as Florida Georgia Line are looking to get in on the ABC musical action. The country duo will be making their appearance on the season premiere this fall.

The season, which starts on Sept. 24, will feature two live performances from the country singers that will air during the east coast broadcast as well as the west coast one.

Executive producer of the series Dee Johnson spoke with People about FGL's appearance in the series, saying the show couldn't be happier to have them.

"Florida Georgia Line is one of the music industry's hottest groups," Johnson explained. "They've achieved the level of stardom that we explore every week on Nashville, so we are delighted to have them perform live on both coasts for our historic third season premiere."

Florida Georgia Line aren't the only famous country stars that have headed to the TV series. Other acts have included Brad Paisley, Brantley Gilbert, Vince Gill, Chris Young, Zac Brown and Kip Moore.

And the star power just keeps on coming as Luke Bryan will also make an appearance during the shows third season.

Also looking to take center stage this season will be Juliette Barnes' (Hayden Panettiere) storyline with newcomer and Dancing With the Stars pro Derek Hough. The two will be working together on a fictional biopic and tensions will arise.

The third season of the country drama will premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
