With the premiere just a few weeks ago, inside scoop has come about detailing an upcoming episode of the CW's The Flash. A major DC Comics super-villain will be making his way from the page to the TV screen, and his arrival can only spell trouble between Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells).

According to TV Line, Barry's hometown of Central City will get suddenly struck by a major power failure. The loss of electricity will caused by a metahuman going by the name of Farooq. The electrical powered baddie is seeking revenge against Dr. Wells for what he did to him.

The seventh episode, titled 'Power Outage,' sets viewers up before the crossover episode between the red speedster and Stephen Amell's Arrow. In the DC Universe, Farooq, who also goes by the name of Blackout, is an antagonist from New Earth, who made his way into the Flash's parallel universe in Flashpoint. In his drawings, Blackout wears a black ski mask that seems to be stitched together.

As mentioned here, the pilot's conclusion will change everything we know about Dr. Wells. Though Harrison attempts to be a confidante and mentor to Allen, there is a secret he is holding back. What did Wells do to Farooq that could have made him so angry and violent? We will have to wait and find out.

We also reported that The Flash will host a Prison Break reunion between Dominic Purcell (Heatwave) and Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold). Could these two super villains showing up in the fourth and tenth episode signal the rise of The Rogues?
