Scandal Season 4 Spoilers: Where Did Olivia and Jake Go?

Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) and Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) left Washington, D.C. in the Season 3 finale of ABC's Scandal for parts unknown, but a new promo for Season 4 reveals where the on-again, off-again lovers went.

Jake repeatedly asked Olivia to "stand in the sun" with him, and it appears that expression was literal, as the promo shows the two on a tropical beach with some wine. Of course, she won't stay there for long, though it's unclear exactly what brings her back to her old life when the show returns on Sept. 25.
