'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1' Poster, Trailer Release Date: Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen Is The Girl On Fire In New Movie Promo Image

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay -Part 1 has a release date set for November 21, 2014, but this week we were treated to the first official movie poster featuring star Jennifer Lawrence. As Katniss Everdeen, Lawrence leads this thrill-ride of a film, and from the looks of this highly anticipated movie poster, she lives up to the name "Girl on Fire." We should expect a new trailer soon (Sept. 15), but for now let's sit in awe of this amazing film poster!

Our main image at the top of this page was a teaser poster, which was cool, but clearly doesn't hold a flame (pun intended) to the officially Everdeen poster. Thanks to Lionsgate and the official Hunger Games Facebook account, we are sharing this new poster with you right here:
