More than 15 years after Married With Children ended (it went off the air in 1997), there are finally talks about a sitcom spinoff. While honoring the show's TV mom, Katey Sagal (who played Peg Bundy), getting her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the cast revealed a spinoff was definitely being talked about.

E! News exclusively reported that a spinoff of the raunchy and hilarious 1990s hit show is being worked on and it revolves around Bud Bundy's (played by Dave Faustino) character.

"We're going to do something with Dave maybe. I don't know if it will be in character," Christina Applegate (who played Kelly Bundy) told E! News at the ceremony. "But I don't really know. I don't know what that's going to be. I don't know if I'm allowed to speak on that at all. So I should probably stop talking about it right now!"

"So far, there is no network deal in place, as pitch meetings are just beginning, but it certainly seems a promising idea...Right?" E! Online reported.

As for a full cast reunion, Katey (who currently stars in FX's drama Sons of Anarchy) explained she is always open to the idea of the family getting back together, if and when the timing is right.

"We've talked about it every year, but then there are so many pieces that have to be in alignment that for some reason it never happens," Katey told E! News. "But we love each other. Well, we're all working now, so it's hard to find the time!"

Even if the spinoff doesn't feature the whole cast, it is clear that all the actors still love one another. ABC News reported that Ed O'Neill, who played Al Bundy, couldn't help but gush over his TV wife for all that she's accomplished.

"I met Katey in 1986. We were both trying out for the parts of Al and Peg Bundy on Married With Children. ... We grew together as a cast and good friends and we see the whole family is here today," Ed said as he honored Katey getting her star.

"I was there when Katey won the Golden Globe for Sons of Anarchy. I was proud of her before. I was proud of her then and I'm proud of her today."
