Kelly Rowland To Play Legendary Singer, Gladys Knight In A New Biopic? 70-Year Old Singer Loves Rowland, and Missy Elliott Too! [SEE INTERVIEW]

It may be Kelly Rowland's lucky day, because Gladys Knight wants her to portray the legendary singer in a new biopic.

According to Madame Noire, Knight says if she ever were to produce a biopic, she'd want Rowland to play the leading role.

"You guys remember when I asked you all who you'd like to see play the role of Gladys Knight in my biopic? Well... Here's what I think:) @kellyrowland," Gladys said via Instagram.

The legendary singer expressed why Rowland would make a good actress portraying her in a biopic.

"I like Kelly Rowland," Gladys revealed. "We don't know her as an actress but there's something about her and her spirit that kind of reflects with me."

Kelly hasn't commented on Glady's statement, but we are sure she'd love to fill the shoes of a iconic singer.

Knight, who is currently promoting her new album, Where My Heart Belongs, shared lots of photos via Instagram of her stops she made through NYC.

"A few more shots from the wonderful set that I was yesterday promoting my new album! I had such a fantastic time!," the singer wrote on the photo above.

"So fantastic catching up with my friend @IAmSteveHarvey today at @ABCNetwork's @thechew See you soon, Steve," Knight added.

She even admitted during a interview that she likes singer, rapper Missy Elliott.

"Yes, it's true... I love me some @MissyElliott :)."
