Prince Harry Involved In High-Speed Car Accident Towards Invictus Games!
As Prince William and Kate Middelton are celebrating their royal baby news, Prince Harry was suddenly caught in a high-speed car accident while being driven to the Invictus Games in his Range Rover. In the collision, one of the royal's police outriders smashed right into a Toyota Prius near the London Zoo.
According to Telegraph, the trained motorcyclist, a member of the Prince's Special Escort Group, was struck by a taxi while en route. Witnesses say the taxi driver was slumped in his front seat and had to be removed by the fire crews. The police biker was thrown 30 feet into the air hone when their vehicles met.
As a safety precaution, Prince Harry travels in a secure convoy comprising of two blacked-out Range Rovers and four motorcycle riders. After the crash, the driver steered through the wreckage before finally stopping. Standard reports, the Prince was described to be looking "upset and shocked" with "his head in his hands."
Though the Prince wanted to help during the incident, for security purposes, he was kept inside the car. The taxi driver and police motorcyclist were taken right away to the hospital. The two are reportedly in stable condition.
A spokesperson for Prince Harry states, "The prince was obviously very concerned and wanted to make sure the men were OK. He is relieved to hear they are both in a stable condition."
An investigation into the crash is underway by the Met's Road Traffic Investigation Unit but no arrests have been made. Readers, what do you think of Prince Harry's car accident?
