Premier League Transfer Gossip: Cristiano Ronaldo, Mario Gotze, Kevin Strootman, Jack Grealish & Ross Barkley - Manchester United & Chelsea In Transfer War

The Premier League summer transfer window may be closed, but it hasn't stopped EPL clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea from creating winter transfer gossip. Both clubs are set to battle it out for several top stars, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Mario Gotze, Kevin Strootman, Jack Grealish and Ross Barkley. If they cannot agree to a winter deal, it's likely the player will become their number one target for the 2015 summer transfer window. Which players should go where?

Ronaldo has hinted he's ready to come home to Manchester, however, it's believed Chelsea will try and convince him that he should make the move to London this time around. Whoever fails to land the star, will turn their attention to Bayern Munich's Gotze, who is younger, and also interested in a move to the Premier League.

Manchester United are currently going through a huge rebuilding job, and their signings wont end with a big-name like Ronaldo or Gotze. They want Strootman to be their midfield enforcer, and they believe they can sign him, despite AS Roma's refusal to do business. United and Chelsea are also tracking Barkley and Grealish, two of England's hottest young talents, but it's likely that each club can only sign one of these wonderkids.

Where will these players go, and can Manchester United compete with Chelsea to sign these players despite Chelsea's better recent form? United have the money to spend, whereas Chelsea are trying to spend less and less, so perhaps United will get first pick after all.
