Based on the terrifying sci-fi classic Alien from director Ridley Scott, the unstoppable space killer returns to continue its reign of terror in the highly anticipated video game, Alien: Isolation. To celebrate having "gone gold," a series of #HowWillYouSurvive trailers, 'Don't Shoot' and 'No Escape,' have been released.

As we reported here, Amanda Ripley is searching in the darkness of outer space for her long-lost mother, Ellen Ripley (with Sigourney Weaver reprising her role). In the aftermath of the events from the flick, Amanda wants to know the truth behind Nostromo's missing crew. During her investigation, the mother/daughter reunion is suddenly put on hold when an evil alien creature steps foot inside her stranded spaceship.

According to IGN, SEGA has confirmed their game has "gone gold" ahead of release, which means work on the game has completely finished. The final version has been pressed into discs and boxed up for shipment to stores.

Released on the official Twitter account, in the #HowWillYouSurvive trailers, we see Amanda running through dark corridors, with the psychotic creature right behind her. Blood and screams are all around her as the extraterrestrial slaughters the crew, showing no mercy.

Make one wrong move in the game and you're mincemeat. In both versions, Amanda meets a cruel death and is gutted by the gruesome monster. Even with a gun in hand, bullets don't seem to hurt the savage beast.

Alien: Isolation is expected to be released on Oct. 7. Readers, are you ready to be scared of Alien all over again?
