Eminem vs. Benzino Beef Over, 'LHHATL' Star Calls Truce: Feud 'Blown Way Out Of Proportion,' Wants Conversation With 'Incredible Lyricist' [WATCH]
Eminem's "beef" with "Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta" star Benzino dates way back to 2002. Check out the epic hip-hop feud timeline here.
But that was over ten years ago, and Benzino's ready to finally call a truce.
In a recent interview with Vlad TV, the VH1 reality star claims that things between him and Slim Shady were "blown out of proportion." Now, he'd love to sit down and have an actual conversation with "The Monster" legacy.
Benzino reveals:
"The whole Eminem beef was blown out of proportion... As far as I'm concerned people go at it all the time, but ours was just blown out of proportion. And I'm sure people can understand why. But that's behind me now. And I told him if I ever seen him I would love to get into a conversation with him, with Marshall. I would love to have some type of conversation. No matter what. What we went through is always gonna be history. Always. He's an incredible lyricist. There's no question about it."
Pretty big compliment - wonder if Shady will agree to the peace offering?
Benzino had "bad blood" with several other people within the industry - including former XXL magazine editor-in-chief, Elliot Wilson (in regards to a "degrading" cartoon published in The Source). But Althea Heart's beau squashed that, too:
"I went up to the offices and seen dude... And dude apologized immediately. I don't want to tell you what took place. Cause it ain't about incrimination. But I went up there and he actually apologized in front of the whole staff. Had him apologize in front of the whole staff. So, handled that fast. That was fast. That was just-Matter of fact, I walked over to they office...I walked over there. You know what I'm saying? Got on that immediately. See, cause a lot of times Vlad and you can take heed to this. Bloggers out there can be real-You got a lot of bloggers out there that are going through personal stuff, so I think sometimes they're not biased. I mean, they're not unbiased, so sometimes they take it personally."
