Fox's 'Gotham' Features Donal Logue's Harvey Bullock In New Trailer! [Watch Video]
With the premiere just two weeks away, Fox has released a new trailer for their upcoming DC Comics series. In the Batman prequel, Gotham, get ready to meet Donal Logue as the toughest cop on the streets of Gotham City, Harvey Bullock.
Audiences may remember the tough cop from the Batman: Animated Series, voiced by Robert Costanzo. In the first couple of seasons, Bullock wanted to bring down the caped crusader, even while he was being investigated by the Internal Affairs. In the fan-favorite 'A Bullet for Bullock,' the rogue cop admits to the Dark Knight he framed a guilty mobster for a crime he didn't commit.
This is the first time, viewers will meet the live-action version of the Batman ally. As we mentioned here, Bullock (Logue) and his partner Jim Gordon (Ben Mckenzie) are at odds with each other. The love/hate relationship they have with each other will remind viewers of good cop/bad cop dramas.
Logue explains his character's motivations, "He's been around Gotham for years and years. In order to survive, he's had to develop his own brand of morality."
Breaking away from the comics, Bullock and Gordon are assigned to the Wayne murders. Their investigation into the unsolvable case will take them directly to mob boss, Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith), and her henchmen, the Penguin (Robin Taylor). Should Bullock be afraid of them, or is it the other way around?
