Arrow Season 2 Deleted Scene Details on Harley Quinn's Appearance
Batman villain Harley Quinn appeared briefly in Season 2, Episode 16 of Arrow entitled "Suicide Squad" when a female voice emerged from one of the containment cells. We never actually saw the person who said it, but producers and star Stephen Amell have since confirmed that it was indeed Harley Quinn. And according to a new report, fans will see more of her in a deleted scene on the Arrow Season 2 Blu-ray and DVD.
Comic Book Movie notes fans "apparently get a proper look at Harley this time and she has a lot more dialogue, including calling a shocked Diggle, 'Chocalte Puddin'!" The site also reported Amell's remarks at Phoenix Comic-Con. "I don't know if she's going to be involved in Season Three but the high-pitched voice in Episode 16, 'Suicide Squad' was absolutely Harley Quinn," he said.
Tara Strong, who has voiced the character in video games and animated television shows and movies, provided the vocals for Harley on Arrow. Cassidy Alexa stood in as the physical embodiment of the character.
Arrow almost always pays off teases like this one, so it would be odd for the show to introduce Harley and then drop her completely. It's likely Harley would return at some point, especially given the news that the Suicide Squad will expand in Season 3.
What do you think, Arrow fans? Will we see Harley Quinn in the flesh at some point in Season 3? If so, how would she get involved in the action in Starling City? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
