Bethesda and Shinji Mikami, the creators of Resident Evil, are looking to top the horror survival genre with a brand new title The Evil Within. With the release date coming up in just about a month (October 23 on PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One), a brand new gameplay trailer is exactly what we need to get us even more excited about the game.

This brand new trailer starts off pretty artistic, but then quickly jumps into plenty of scary imagery that we'll find in the gameplay this fall. Reports claim that this trailer has some spoilers, so please be cautious while watching!

Hardcore Gamer reports:

The Evil Within is Bethesda's new horror IP that they've been heavily pushing since it's been announced, which is probably due to the current saturation of the genre with titles like Dead Island 2, Dying Light and eventually the Silent Hill reboot to name a few. If you don't want any spoilers I suggest you don't look at the trailer. The trailer, which is in Japanese, shows the protagonist running down a hallway while he or the hooded antagonist narrates it. It then switches to a montage of in-game moments filled with zombies and contraptions all trying to kill you.
