'Sons of Anarchy's' Katey Sagal New Role in 'Bleed For This' Playing Boxer Vinny Pazienza's Mother

Katey Sagal will be coming to the big screen as character Louise Pazienza in the film Bleed For This. 

An inspirational true story of World Champion Boxer "The Pazmanian Devil," Vinny Pazienza, who after a horrific car accident didn't know if he could even walk again, made one of the greatest sports comebacks in history. With the help of trainer Kevin Rooney (Aaron Eckhart) the boxer makes a comeback in around one year's time and beats world champion Luis Santana.

Sagal's role as Gamma Teller Morrow in the FX series Sons Of Anarchy has done everything under the sun to be sentenced hardcore prison time. She's shot and killed people and even held a gun to a baby! Fans are curious to see how her role in Bleed For This will change face for her Golden Globe winning character in SOA.

Something fans may not know about the former Married with Children star is that before auditioning for the small screen she was briefly a backup singer for Bob Dylan, NPR reported back in 2012.

"I got the gig as a singer and then I had to dance like in high heels and in a mermaid fin, and all thee kind of crazy things. I just never thought I would be able to do it!"

We have very little faith that the singer turned actress will be parading around and dancing in a mermaid fin in the new Bleed For This flick.

The movie will be released sometime in 2015.
