Actress Maisie Williams - known for her impressive performance on Game of Thrones as Arya Stark - has this week been cast in the upcoming Ben Chanan project entitled Cyber Bully. This new show, coming to U.K. broadcaster Channel 4, is described as a real-time drama-doc inspired by real accounts of cyber-bullying. Williams, who we can see in the upcoming season 5 episodes of HBO's hit series Game of Thrones, is set to play the main victim named Casey Jacobs.

"The audience will be trapped with Casey for a full screen hour and we need an exceptional actress to play her," the director said in a statement. "I couldn't imagine anyone else in the role. Maisie Williams is not only remarkably talented, she also has an immediately likeable, feisty screen presence which makes you root for her instinctively."

The film is said to take some inspiration from the 2013 drama Locke. The Hollywood Reporter said:

Said to be inspired by dozens of real-life cases, Cyber Bully is due to air next year and will follow in the same format as recent feature film Locke, taking place in one single location.

Considering the subject matter of this project, imagining it in one setting makes sense. Perhaps she'll remain in her room by a computer or with her cell phone on hand, possibly receiving the mean-spirited messages through those mediums?
