It's been ten years since Hilary Duff's breakout teen sitcom aired Lizzie McGuire, fans may be in Hilary Duff heaven as she said she's "totally open" to a reunion.

The actress and mom to 2-year-old Luca Cruz spoke with the Huffington Post regarding her thoughts on a reunion. "Totally open", she said. "Why not?" she added.

"I mean, so many people loved her," she continued. "I loved her. Honestly, working on that show, I got so strong with my physical comedy and all the things that they would throw at me. I got covered in goo every week, and I got, like, smashed in the face with a locker every single week. ... I mean it was a really, really fun show. And obviously people really loved her. Maybe a Lizzie: Where Are You Now? like 10 years later."

Lizzie McGuire was an instant hit on the Disney Channel when it first aired in January 2001. The show is solely based on Duff's 13-year-old middle school character, Lizzie McGuire who has amusing misfortunes with an animated alter ego. Lizzie dreams of being one of the popular girls at her school, although her animated alter-ego frequently get's in her way.

David Gordon played by Adam Lamberg is one of her best friends. Intelligent and practical he gives Lizzie good advice.

Other characters we could potentially see at the theoretical reunion are Lelaine who played Miranda, Adam Lamberg who played "Gordo" and her little brother Jake Thomas, playing Matt McGuire.

Duff's career did not end in 2004 as the show made it's final episode. She went on to star in movies and albums.

Currently she will be releasing a new album as well as string in a new show on TV Land, "Younger"
