Karrueche Tran vs. Rihanna Beef Continues: Chris Brown 'Anxious' For 'X' Album Approval, Wants Another Collaboration With Drake's Ex? [WATCH]
Despite whirlwind drama surrounding Chris Brown's past relationship with Rihanna, the "Loyal" crooner would consider working on another collaboration with the "Diamonds" songstress. In a recent interview with Access Hollywood's Liz Hernandez, Breezy admits that he's still "friends" with his ex-lover:
"I think people kinda always get misconceptions because if you don't see [Rihanna and I] in the headlines dating or with each other, it's always, 'Oh, they hate each other.' Me and her are friends. We have a great understanding. There's no issues... At the end of the day, we'll do music. If the time is right, if she's working on an album and wants me on a record, she can call, I'll get on the record. If I need her on something, and vice versa... that friendship speaks volumes. We've been friends, we've known each other for almost 10 years, the same amount of time I've been doing music. I don't think that's ever gonna change. It is what it is - we're friends."
Brown opens-up even more throughout the interview - check it out here:
Wonder if current girlfriend Karrueche Tran feels threatened? The 26-year-old aspiring model continues supporting her main man, even helping to promote his new album X on social media.
But is the infamous hip-hop superstar more concerned about what RiRi might think?
An alleged insider tells HollywoodLife.com:
"He's not looking for Rihanna's approval on anything. I mean, he hopes she loves it. That's why he's an artist. He enjoys expressing himself through music with the hopes that his fans will love his music... His relationship with her is totally different these days. It's not what it used to be and it's not going to ever be like that again."
Brown won't cheat on Tran - their relationship's too special:
"He's got a girl and when it comes to relationships and women in his life, there's only one girl, and her name is 'Karrueche,'' the insider continues. "She loves the album, and to him, as long as his fans and Karrueche love X, he's not worried about anything."
Despite several delays, X was finally released on September 12 (now available on iTunes). Do fans dig the fresh tunes?
