'Teen Mom 2' Leah Messer Custody Battle With Ex Corey Simms- Reality Star Might Lose Primary Custody Of Two Kids Ali & Aleeah
It looks like it could be a hard road ahead for Teen Mom 2's Leah Messer. The reality star could possibly lose the custody of her two twin daughters Ali and Aleeah. On Wednesday's all-new episode of the popular MTV show, the star is completely blindsided as she talks about her ex-hubby Corey Simms petitioning for full custody of the former couple's two kids.
The 22-year-old mother of two says that when Corey made the move to vie for full custody that she was "shocked." Messer and her new husband Jeremy Calvert are the ones that are currently hold primary custody for the 4-year-old twins, but that could all change with Simms' recent move.
In the new clip that MTV released from the episode, Leah talks to her stepdad Lee about the new legal situation, and he seems perplexed by the new developments as well.
"Why would you give custody to a parent who is in denial of what the facts are when it comes to Ali's medical condition, who is not wanting to cooperate with fulfilling her needs?" Leah's stepdad questions referencing Ali's rare case of muscular dystrophy.
Leah echoes her stepdad's questions, asking, "If I was such a bad mom, why didn't he do it before? The worst outcome would probably be that he would get full custody, and I don't know how I would deal with that... I can't imagine not being the one taking care of her."
The reality stars gets very emotional talking about the situation, asking her stepdad, when all of this is going to be over.
