The September 22, 2014 edition of WWE's Monday Night Raw emanates live from the FedEx Forum in Memphis and begins with Dean Ambrose, who declares that he is not dead and is back in action.

He talks about the match in which Seth Rollins and Kane put his head through cinderblocks. He says he feels special because The Authority tried to get rid of him. Ambrose says he is sick of Rollins and The Authority and decides to stage a sit-in until he gets the chance to wail on Rollins.

Ambrose sits down in the ring and John Cena's music hits. Ambrose tells Cena "don't give me a reason to not like you." Cena says he wants a piece of Rollins, too, and decides to cash in his "Ass-Kickin' in the Bank" contract on him. Ambrose tells Cena not to get in his way and the two tease a confrontation. Before anything happens, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Rollins, Randy Orton and Kane come out to the ramp.

Triple H tells them to calm down, but Cena and Ambrose sprint toward The Authority. Rollins tries to flee but Ambrose catches up to him. The Authority looks out of sorts as Cena and Ambrose attack Rollins backstage. He runs away, hops in an SUV and drives away. Ambrose tries to hang on but can't do it.

The Authority is arguing backstage, but they book two matches for later in the night. Ambrose will fight Kane, while Cena will face Orton.

Dolph Ziggler defeats The Miz (w/Damien Sandow) by hooking the tights to regain the Intercontinental Championship.

Jack Swagger defeats Bo Dallas with the Patriot Lock. Zeb Colter makes fun of Bo after the match.

Natalya and Rosa Mender defeat Summer Rae and Layla when Nattie locks in the Sharpshooter on Summer Rae, who cut a promo before the match to say summer was over for everyone except her and Layla.

Ambrose defeats Kane by disqualification when Rollins attacks him after Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Kane. Rollins beats up Ambrose and goes to get a chair, but Ambrose recovers and tosses him out of the ring. Kane comes back and chokeslams Ambrose. They start to leave, but Rollins stalks back toward the ring. Ambrose is back up with a chair, and Rollins backs away up the ramp.

Backstage, Kane and Rollins bump into Triple H. Ambrose interrupts their conversation and beats on Kane and Rollins. Security restrains him and Triple H tells them to throw Ambrose out, but Stephanie McMahon instead orders them to lock Ambrose in a room and stand guard in front of the door. Ambrose loses his mind more so than usual.

Sheamus and The Usos defeat Cesaro, Goldust and Stardust when one of the Usos splashes Goldust off the top rope.

Rollins is backstage with Orton. He tells the Viper he knows Orton thinks he is fighting Rollins' battles for him, but that's not what is happening tonight. He has a surprise waiting for Orton at ringside to thank him and adds he and Kane will be at ringside for the match. Orton says he likes surprises and Rollins walks away.

Mark Henry comes out to address the fans after his loss to Rusev last night. He apologizes for letting the country down and says he is not 100% physically. He says he is heartbroken and accepts whatever the fans choose to say to him. Rusev comes out with Lana, who says he does not have to apologize because the fans understand. She says the fans want Mark Henry to fight Rusev again tonight, and Henry accepts.

Rusev wins the match when he locks in the Accolade and Henry passes out.

Adam Rose and The Bunny defeat Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil when Rose hits Slater with the Party Foul.

Nikki Bella comes out and talks about her loss last night. She calls out Brie and her sister comes out to the ring. They start to bicker and Nikki says Brie should not be allowed to have the Bella name because she is an embarrassment to the family. Nikki lists new names for her sister and says she wants to be called "THE Nikki Bella."

Nikki hurls a few more insults at Brie until she snaps and attacks. She tries to put a Yes! Lock on Nikki, but she escapes. AJ Lee then skips out to the ring to face Nikki.

Paige is on commentary for the match. She says AJ is her enemy now, not a frenemy, and says she is in a foul mood. During the match, Nikki throws AJ into Paige, who gets more upset. Back in the ring, AJ locks in the Black Widow on Nikki to get the win by submission. Paige stares down AJ after the match.

We see another shot of the security guards in front of the room where they put Ambrose earlier.

John Cena defeats Randy Orton by disqualification when Rollins and Kane attack Cena after he locks in the STF. They beat down Cena in the ring and Kane chokeslams him. They drag him outside the ring and bring him to the surprise box, but Dean Ambrose is inside it and he attacks The Authority members. Cena joins the fray and they lay out Orton and Kane while Rollins retreats into the crowd. Cena and Ambrose stand tall in the ring but Ambrose keeps a watchful eye on Cena as the show goes off the air.
