Mike Tyson Comes To Aid Of Crashed Motorcyclist

As intimidating as he may seem in the ring - facial tattoos and all - Mike Tyson has just proven that he is actually a kind, caring man when it really counts.

As TMZ reports, Tyson came to the aid of a motorcyclist who crashed his bike along the side of the road on a Las Vegas interstate last week.

According to the Washington Times, attorney Stephen Stubbs says his 29-year-old client, Ryan Chesley, was riding his motorcycle along Interstate 15 in the popular Nevada city when a taxicab cut him off and caused him to crash.

Then the next thing Chesley knew, says Stubbs, the boxing legend was standing guard over him and ordering people not to touch him in an attempt to keep him calm while they waited for help.

"[Chesley] thought he was hallucinating," Stubbs said. "He thought he was in some other world."

But it was no dream, and Chesley has the photos to prove it. Using his uninjured right hand, he took a photo of Tyson with his phone just before the cops arrived and the boxer "just left, like some kind of superhero."

In the end, Chesley came away with several broken bones, torn muscles and ligaments and a host of nerve damage, though he has been discharged from the hospital. He will require shoulder surgery at a later date to correct all of the injuries he sustained.

Chesley was so appreciative of the random act of kindness that he sent Tyson a fruit basket and a hand-written thank you note on Friday, Tyson's assistant told the Times.

A journalist from Mexico summed up the entire incident best. As reported by the Gossip Cop, the writer tweeted, ""Class act. @MikeTyson ... he can hurt you bad, and help you good."
