Ubisoft has this week confirmed that Rocksmith 2014 will officially come to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with a release date set for Nov. 4. The popular musical tutorial gaming experience will get this Next-Gen console expansion, complete with a brand new song list and great new 1080p resolution!

Gamers with Rocksmith content on their PlayStation 3s and Xbox 360s will be able to transfer any information over to the newer consoles in order to keep their progress going. No information will be lost in this new console update.

IGN reports:

The tutoring franchise - which has already taught more than two million people how to play the guitar - will feature 1080p resolution on both current-gen consoles and uses "integrated streaming and capture features" to enable players to record and share performances ... On PlayStation 4, Rocksmith 2014 will also support Remote Play via the PS Vita, where you can review songs without feedback, study tricky sections or practice in a more convenient space, away from your PS4.

Rocksmith 2014 owners can learn a plethora of songs, including the 50 new titles added to the most recent update. Some of these songs include "Walk This Way" by Aerosmith, "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan, "Chompers" by Fang Island, "Every Breath You Take" by The Police, "We Are The Champions" by Queen and plenty more.
