WWE taped the September 26, 2014 edition of Friday Night SmackDown on Tuesday from Little Rock, Arkansas, and the show begins with The Miz calling out Dean Ambrose for a match after Ambrose attacked him on Miz TV on Main Event earlier in the week.

Ambrose beats Miz cleanly with Dirty Deeds. Seth Rollins and Kane attack Ambrose after the match, but he steals the Money in the Bank briefcase and runs away.

Cesaro wins a battle royal to become the No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship. He defeats Los Matadores, Justin Gabriel, Damien Sandow, Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Jack Swagger, Heath Slater, Titus O'Neil, Zack Ryder and Bo Dallas. Big E, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods reportedly dressed alike and worked as a team, so apparently their stable isn't through yet.

The Usos defeat Stardust and Goldust by disqualification in a rematch for the Tag Team Championships. Goldust breaks up a pinfall attempt with the title belt to cause the DQ.

Layla and Summer Rae defeat Natalya and Rosa Mendes. Word is this match was terrible and could be heavily edited for the broadcast on Friday. The referee apparently had to redo the three count to top it all off. Layla rolls up Rosa for the pin.

Dolph Ziggler defeats Cesaro to retain the Intercontinental Championship after he counters a sunset flip power bomb into a Fameasser.

Big Show defeats Rusev by disqualification when Lana interferes and winds up in the ring. Rusev attacks show with the Russian flag, but the giant hits the KO Punch and stands tall to close the show.
