Karina Smirnoff has been a pro for a long time (16 seasons) on Dancing with the Stars and this season she is one of People's bloggers and she's taking you inside the dancing show. The pro won the mirror ball trophy in season 13 and now she's hoping to win again with her new partner, Randy Couture.

Season 19 of DWTS just finished week two of competition and Karina is opening up about her cha-cha with partner Randy (a retired mixed martial arts fighter). After week one's performance the dancer revealed that she was really happy with how Randy performed.

"Our performance went perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better response. There's a certain side of Randy that I wanted to showcase in the dance and it came through, and the judges and the audiences recognized that. I couldn't have been happier," she wrote on People's blog.

The 36-year-old also explained that she was really proud of former dancer and now judge, Julianne Hough. "I think she did an amazing job keeping up with him and playing it back with him (Bruno Tonioli)," she said. "And she loved my partner! She thought he was extremely sexy, so really I think she did an incredible job!"

This week, Karina and Randy had a complete change in regards to dance style. In week one they did the foxtrot, but this week they did the cha-cha and it was fun.

"The story in the foxtrot was graceful, suave, romantic, and strong. With the cha-cha, now I want to show the naughty side of Randy Couture! Our cha-cha is super-playful, flirtatious and sexy," she wrote on Tuesday.

During their week two performance, the duo danced to one of Randy's favorite songs, "Satisfaction." "We have an amazing story. Randy has so many experiences in his life that make him very unique, so we put a story from Randy's life into the dance," Karina explained.

The duo created a dance that was inspired by Randy's time in the military. They even wore costumes that matched the war era. "It's really cool and I'm excited. And I get to be a pinup. That is always one of the fantasies you want to come true!"

After their fun cha-cha, Randy and Karina were saved and moved onto next week's challenge, which will be about movies. Tune in on Monday to see what style these two perform next.
