The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: Tyler James Williams Joins Cast as Noah

The cast of Season 5 of The Walking Dead continues to grow, as Everybody Hates Chris star Tyler James Williams has joined the show as a character names Noah.

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the news, but AMC did not offer any further information beyond the character's name. Noah does not exist in Robert Kirkman's comics, but the show has given actors fake names in the past just to throw people off the scent and then revealed the new character as someone from the comics.

In other Walking Dead news, the "Ask Ausiello" column at TVLine reports, directly and to the point, that main characters will die this season. "You know how last season the major-character-body-count was relatively low? That will not be the case in Season 5," the site reports.

Another newcomer, Andrew J. West spoke to EW.com about his role as Gareth, the presumed leader of Terminus. He spoke lengthily about the character and also offered the following assessment of how Gareth views Rick (Andrew Lincoln).

"I think he probably sees Rick in a lot of ways as a kindred spirit. Obviously, right off the bat he identifies him as the ringleader. It's kind of the nickname that he gives Rick in the finale. And right away he can tell that this guy's tough, that he's survived and that he knows how to survive. And that he is a really strong-willed guy. And I believe that Gareth respects that kind of person. So yeah, I think that's generally how Gareth views Rick when he meets him in the finale. Even after the brief encounters that they have."
