The New York Yankees battle longtime rivals the Boston Red Sox in Game 1 of the final regular season series today (Friday, Sept. 26) at 7:05 p.m. at legendary Fenway Park. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of this evening's baseball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight, plays and scores.

As several fans already know, this is Derek Jeter's final season as a beloved Yankee. The 40-year-old shortstop/captain will retire, and since the Yanks aren't making the 2014 MLB playoffs, Jeter will take the field for the last time in Boston. Check out Jeter's emotional exit at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night (Sept. 25). The team won against the Baltimore Orioles in Game 4 - Jeter's walk-off hit scored the final winning run:

The Yankees currently snag the No. 14 spot on ESPN's official Major League Baseball power rankings with a 82-77 winning record:

"The Yankees' playoff chances remained on life support, as they went 4-3 against the Rays and Blue Jays last week. Derek Jeter snapped a 28 at-bat hitless streak on Wednesday and is heating up as his career comes to an end. He is 8-for-17 with three RBIs in the first four games of his final homestand, which concludes with four games against the Orioles this week." -- Katie Sharp (@ktsharp), It's About the Money

Meanwhile, the Sox hold the meager No. 24 spot (out of 30 teams) with a 70-89 record:

"You can blame the trades and injuries for a 25-36 record in the second half, but the Red Sox haven't had a winning month in any month and they have a losing record against all four AL East opponents." -- David Schoenfield (@dschoenfield), SweetSpot

The ballgame will be broadcast live on NESN and WWOR, but fans can listen in on the radio on WCPV1080 WTICWFAN and ESPN NY.
