Snooki Gives Birth To Baby Girl! Find Out The Name And More Details Inside!

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is a mother ... again.

The former Jersey Shore star gave birth to daughter Giovanna Marie LaValle this morning. This is the second child for Snooki and fiancé Jionni LaValle, who welcomed a baby boy named Lorenzo two years ago.

Snooki broke the exciting news to her almost 7 million Twitter followers. She described her little meatball as "6.7 lbs" and "perfect" with a "full head of black hair."

In an interview to ABC News announcing the pregnancy in May, Snooki was over-the-moon about becoming a mother for the second time.

"I'm so excited about having a little best friend to shop with and just do girlie things with!" she said. "Can't wait for that!"

Snooki documented her pregnancy on Twitter and in a series of pictures on her blog. In one blog post she wrote, "Guess what, I'm still freaking pregnant. Omg! I can't deal with this anymore. I feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever." 

She also wrote about her first pregnancy in her book, Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama. In it she wrote that she quit drinking after a crazy night of clubbing, where her breast milk became contaminated with alcohol.

"I could smell the sake bombs in the bottle," she wrote. "My milk was so full of alcohol, I could have used it to start a bonfire in the yard. I could have cleaned the toilet with it."

Snooki now joins her best friend and co-star Jenny "JWOWW" Farley who also gave birth to a girl, Meilani Alexandra Mathews, in July. Snooki and JWOWW are so close, she was named Godmother to little Meilani. The two will continue to co-star together for a fourth season of their MTV reality hit show Snooki & JWOWW
