Carrie Underwood Unveils Greatest Hits Decade No. 1 Album, Talks Being Pregnant For First Time

In Carrie Underwood news, the American Idol winner has revealed that she is getting ready to release a new single next week, which will be featured on the country icon's first greatest hits album, Carrie Underwood Greatest Hits Decade #1.

She appeared on NBC's Today show to reveal that her new album would be available December, but that fans would get to hear a little something new from it Sept. 29.

According to E! News, the singer appeared on the show in a gorgeous black dress while she beamed from head to toe. Underwood, who just announced she is pregnant with her first child earlier this month, gave a little sneak peek to Hoda Kotb of what fans can expect from the new album and the new single.

"'Something in the Water' [is] about changing your life for the better and have that 'aha moment' to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward," the singer explains, also adding, "It's very uplifting."

The mommy-to-be also talked about the bundle of joy she is currently carrying, saying that it's "weird" being pregnant. This is the star's first child with husband Mike Fisher, who said the news is so surreal for both of them.

"I'm gonna be a mom. You're gonna be a dad. It's like, is this real life?" the singer said. "But we're really excited."

Underwood took part in the Global Citizens Festival yesterday in Central Park as part of the lineup featuring No Doubt, Jay Z, and Fun., among others.
