Rihanna To Land Role In 'James Bond' Movie? Will 'Diamonds' Singer Be Part Of 'Bond 24'?
Could our favorite bad girl be joining the all-new James Bond movie?
Rumors have been swirling that Rihanna might just have landed herself a role in the new film, Bond 24. The Barbadian beauty could be joining Daniel Craig in the spy thriller.
According to Digital Spy, The Sunday Mirror is reporting that RiRi has been approached by the producers of the upcoming action film who have asked her to join the picture. The film has yet to start shooting, but Rihanna does not have much time to decide if she wants to be a part of the series, as filming is scheduled to begin Dec. 6.
Sam Mendes will also serve once again as director — he directed Skyfall in 2012. Craig will also reprise his role of the international spy James Bond in his fourth picture in the franchise, of which this film will be the 24th, hence the name Bond 24.
The film has been a long time coming as screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade have taken to rewrite the script for the follow-up.
This will be Rihanna's third major motion picture credit, should she accept the offer. The "Diamonds" singer has previously secured roles in Battleship as well as a cameo appearance in This Is the End alongside Jonah Hill and Seth Rogen.
The action flick is expected to hit theaters in 2015.
