Carrie Underwood has been a pretty busy girl.

She announced during and interview on NBC's Today Friday that she would be releasing a greatest hits album, then on Saturday she took the stage with Jay Z and No Doubt at the Global Citizen's Festival and today she is unveiling her new single "Something in the Water."

The singer revealed on Today that she would be debuting the song Monday, and the star did not let us down. She took to her Facebook page to premiere the song, also available for purchase on iTunes. The song also features a video where little water droplets rain down as the background with the single artwork as the forefront for the video.

Carrie stuns in the black-and-white artwork for the song, as rain pour downs around her.

The song has a Gospel feel as Carrie sings about her faith. It is reminiscent of her debut single "Jesus Take The Wheel."

"It hit me like lightning, late one night/I was all out of hope and all out of fight," Carrie sings in the second verse. "Couldn't fight back the tears, so I fell on my knees,/Saying, 'God, if you're there, come and rescue me.'/Felt love pouring down from above,/Got washed in the water, washed in the blood."

"Now I'm changed, now I'm stronger./There must be something in the water," Carrie sings in the chorus.

She also samples one of our personal favorite church songs, "Amazing Grace," during the end portion of the song, which makes us happy.
