Amanda Bynes Arrested For DUI: Actress Jailed, Could Be In Violation Of 3-Year Probation

Amanda Bynes was arrested over the weekend under suspicions of DUI.

The once-troubled starlet seemed to have turned her life around earlier this year after completing a stint in rehab and then enrolling in fashion school shortly thereafter, but it looks like the star could be in more trouble, as these new charges could be in violation of her three-year probation stemming from previous charges.

According to ABC News, the 28-year-old actress-turned-fashion-enthusiast was arrested around 4:10 a.m. and booked in a Van Nuys, California, station Sunday morning. Bynes was booked and charged with a misdemeanor and held on $15,000 bail, but was released at 12:44 p.m. the same day.

The star seemed to have stayed out of trouble this year, after 2012 and 2013 proved to be difficult for her. She had a rough past two years, as she was arrested for a DUI in 2012 and then was alleged to have underwent difficulties in 2013, when she was assumed to have thrown a bong out her apartment window in New York City.

Charges for the bong incident were dismissed earlier this year, and the 2012 DUI arrest resulted in Bynes having to pay fines, take a three-month class and also be placed on three years probation after pleading to a lesser, alcohol-related offense as a way to avoid going to jail.

No news yet on how this will affect the star's probation, but she is expected in court Oct. 23 to deal with these new offenses.
