Luis Suarez 'FIFA 15,' World Cup 2014 Biting Ban - FC Barcelona & Uruguay Goal-Scorer's Real-Life Suspension Extends To Newly Released Video Game Until Oct. 26

Not only will fans of Luis Suarez have to wait until late October to see the FC Barcelona star goal-scorer back in competitive play, they won't even be able to play as the striker in FIFA 15! Gamers are finding out that the ban on the Uruguay player after he bit Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during the 2014 World Cup this summer extends to the video game franchise!

Eurogamer reports:

At the time of writing, searches on the transfer market in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team return no results for Luis Suarez, while anyone taking charge of Barcelona, where the striker moved in the summer, receives an email from the chief executive stating that he is suspended and unavailable for selection until 26th October.

The video gaming website also shared a great Tweet from a FIFA 15 gamer that points out this extended band in the game:

So it looks like when FIFA suspended Suarez from "all football activities" over the summer, they really meant it!

Eurogamer also points out that Suarez is ranked 7th overall in Ultimate Team, which means that he's probably going to be picked up pretty quickly on Oct. 26 when the ban is lifted. Are you going to try and pick up Suarez next month? Do you think biting will be implemented once he's back? Let us know what you think of this news and how it affects FIFA 15 play in the comments section below!
