Rich Homie Quan's Father, Corey Lamar Gunned Down In Atlanta, Listed Under Critical Condition But Expected To Live

MStars News has learned that rapper Rich Homie Quan's father was shot multiple times Monday morning, and is now recovering in an Atlanta hospital, as his son Rich stays by his side.

According to TMZ, Corey Lamar ( Quan's father ) was shot 4 times in the barbershop he owns when the gunman came in to attempt a robbery.

The barbershop, located on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, has left some locals wondering if an alleged feud between Quan and other rappers resulted in the shooting of his father, Lamar.

"I heard about three gunshots, and so I saw the guy come out," witness Van White shared with Atlanta police.

White claims that he heard the gunshots, saw the shooter and tried to stop him, but the gunman got away, according to WSBtv.

"He got in a black car, and that's all I know from there," White claims.

The barbers working that day claim that the gunman came in after they were out of sight.

Lamar, Quan's manager and father was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was taken into surgery, now listed in critical condition, but expected to survive.

Police are currently investigating the shooting, after learning that the shop was shot up a month ago.

Quan has also noted during interviews that he isn't feuding with one of the rappers police are questioning.
