Country Singer Holly Williams And Musician Chris Coleman Welcome First Child, Daughter Stella.
Nashville has a new future singer on their hands as country singer Holly Williams and her musician husband Chris Coleman gave birth to their first child together, daughter Stella June Coleman, on Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Nashville.
"I am beyond thrilled to meet her. I'm so incredibly blessed," Williams gushed to People.
Stella weighted weighed 7 lbs., 12 oz., and measured 21 inches long.
The name Stella hits close to home, as it was the name of her great great aunt, while June was William's maternal grandmother's name.
Coleman just got back form the road, as he is the backing musician for Kings of Leon. Williams also got back form the road as she just finished touring for her album, The Highway.
What perfect timing!
Now the two busy singers can focus on being loving parents. "We have been going non-stop for a year and this will be our first 14 days in our house together since 2012," she said. "This sounds crazy, but I feel like we're about to go on vacation because we'll be forced to not leave the house for days."
The doting mom continues to explain her excitement of just being with her new baby: "The thought of just being in a rocking chair with her and being still and quiet for hours and hours upon end, even if I'm exhausted, sounds like such a peaceful bonding time."
Stella comes from a long line of singers, as Williams is the granddaughter of Hank Williams, Sr., one of the most significant and influential singers and songwriters for the 20th century. She is also the daughter of musician Hank Williams III.
The couple announces this May 2014 that she was pregnant with her first child.
