Taylor Swift poses for the cover of British Vogue's November 2014 issue, which will his newsstands Oct. 6.

The 24-year-old singer-songwriter chatted with the magazine about her new album 1989 — the year she was born —and her non-existent dating life.

"Dating or finding someone is the last thing on my mind because I can't picture how it could work with the way my life is," the singer revealed.

Taylor's fifth studio album, 1989, will be released Oct. 27, and her single from the album, "Shake It Off," was produced as the No. 1 single. The country singer will also serve as an adviser for contestants on The Voice.

The hardworking megastar described that she doesn't know how any guy could handle her life of paparazzi and frantic schedules.

"I don't know how a guy is supposed to walk next to his girlfriend when there are 20 men with cameras, and he can't protect his girlfriend because that's the life she chose. I just don't see how it could work, so I don't think about it, and I kind of run from it when it presents itself. 'Cause I don't think any guy really ... They think that they would want to get to know me, and maybe date me, but I don't think they want what comes with it."

Taylor has been known in the media to date men, break up and write endless breakup songs about them. Her rolodex of men include Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor Kennedy and One Direction singer Harry Styles.

Jonas and Mayer have returned the favor and written songs about Taylor.
