The FX network made Married fans and You're the Worst addicts very happy today. The studio announced that both shows would be coming back for a second season, having both finished their first season on Sept. 18.

Married stars Nat Faxon as Russ Bowman and Judy Greer as Lina Bowman. The married couple has to navigate their way through parenting and figure out that at the heart of everything they are really best friends. Married was created by Andrew Gurland and also stars Brett Gelman as AJ and Jenny Slate as Jess.

"On a weekly basis, Married has averaged 1.96 million total viewers and 1.35 million adults 18-49," Deadline reported. "You're The Worst is averaging 1.65 million viewers and 1.09 million adults 18-49 (through the first seven episodes)."

You're the Worst stars Chris Geere as Jimmy and Aya Cash as Gretchen. The characters try to start a relationship that is born from a toxic and self-destructive place while getting their lives together. It is a dark twist on the typical romantic comedy from writer and executive producer Stephen Falk.

The network announced that Married will be coming back for its sophomore season on the same channel (FX), while You're the Worst will be moving to it's extension channel, FXX.

Although FXX is still fairly unknown it could be a good thing for You're the Worst to be moved to the younger channel. Its audience is younger and therefore could pull even more viewers in that demographic. FXX currently hosts The League (which began in 2009), Ali G Rezurection (starring Sacha Baron Cohen), the hit comedy It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and now houses every episode of the Simpsons.

The channel also airs Parks and Recreation, How I Met Your Mother and Mad About You reruns.

According to Deadline, both shows were renewed for a 13-episode pickup, which is up from their first seasons, which were only 10 episodes.
