Teasers Revealed for Disney Channel’s 'Monstober': 'Jesse' Spoilers, 'Austin & Ally'/'Marvel' Crossover, 'Halloweentown'
Disney Channel's "Monstober" is back Oct. 2, and this year there'll be more Halloween-specific episodes.
The month-long Halloween fest will feature Halloween-specific shows, movies and crossover episodes.
The children's network announced its line-up for "Monstober" in a press release Oct. 1.
"Austin & Ally stars Raini Rodriguez and Calum Worthy return as 'Monstober' hosts to deliver this year's highlights, which include the premiere of the mystery-adventure special Evermoor, a one-hour episode of Phineas and Ferb and an animated version of the Jessie cast in a crossover episode of Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Web-Warriors," the network said in a statement via Zap2it.
TV Line exclusively learned that Jessie, starring Debby Ryan and Peyton List, will feature a costume party and a proposal.
"As the Ross kids prepare for a Halloween festival, the festivities take a scary turn when Brooks proposes to Jessie — and she learns that none of the kids like him," TV Line reported.
Jessie will have not one, but two Halloween-centered episodes. The second episode will air Oct. 10 and be a crossover with Marvel's Ultimate Spider-Man: Wed-Warriors. In the episode, the Jessie cast will become animated.
In the "Monstober" line-up Dog with a Blog will have a Halloween episode titled "Howloween 2: The Final Reckoning," which will revolve around the stars convincing their parents that the house is haunted in order to hide a greater secret.
In addition to Austin & Ally's ghost stories-filled episode, which airs Oct. 5, I Didn't Do It, starring Olivia Holt and Austin North as twins Lindy and Logan Watson, will have a pumpkin-themed episode.
"Delia has grown a 10-foot pumpkin in hopes of beating her archnemesis Great Granny Wrinkles for a prize," the publication explained.
"Monstober" will also feature classic Disney Channel films such as Twitches, Girl vs. Monster, Halloweentown and The Little Vampire. Wreck-It Ralph, Casper and Toy Story of Terror will also be aired on Disney Channel this month.
